Who the People of St. Francis Are
There's more than one way of saying who we are ...
Our Mission: *
Through Christ we maintain and strengthen His love and fellowship
among parish members.
History is a story well told. Here's our story.

About the Cross above the Altar The large statue of Christ which hangs over the altar is called the "Christus Rex" which means "Christ the King" in Latin. The figure wears a crown, and is also dressed as a priest. Anglicans are an Easter People., and to show the centrality of the resurrection in our faith, it is common for Anglican churches to feature empty crosses ... Christ is no longer hanging in pain but has conquered death ... or to use the Christus Rex, which symbolizes Christ's victory over death, sin, and the grave, and his triumphant reign.
