Pastoral Care at St. Francis

Last updated: 27 September 2008

Pastoral Care at St Francis is members of the congregation available and willing to offer fellow members assistance in a variety of areas.

Do you or someone you know need short term help with meals or transportation?  Would you like to be added to the Prayer Chain?  Would you like to have a trained Stephen Minister assist you if you are hospitalized, bereaved, terminally ill, in a job crisis, lonely, homebound, or in a spiritual crisis?.......If yes, or you would like more information, please contact the person identified for the specific area in the St Francis Directory, or call the church office at 292-7090.

The Senior and Health Bulletin Board in McNaught Hall has information about services available in the community.

The Pastoral Care committee also sponsors Flu and Pneumonia vaccines in the fall and other health related events. New members and suggestions are always welcome.

The committee meets monthly on the 3rd Sunday at 11:30 am. Contact person, Val Isaacson, RN.

Where in the world is the CareBear?

You never know where CareBear is going next.
He has a mind and heart of his own,
that take him to St. Francis parishioners
when they most need him.

His latest travels have taken him into the heart of
Old Willow Glen.

Morning tea at 8 a.m., 11'ees at 11
and High Tea at 4.

In between times, he was cheerfully helpful about the house
and always ready to offer comfort.

CareBear brings St. Francis' love to
those who need a little extra.
